Ivan Dimitrov Pehlivanov

Ivan Pehlivanov is an accordionist who spent his whole life in the service of Bulgaria and his native art and culture. He has been a music teacher for many years, as well as a poet, who has published several collections of poems, and his story reveals his family relationship with priest Nikola Belchov, the main driver of the Koprivshtitsa rebel group in 1876.

The story is part of the "Plovdiv stories from yesterday and today" project within the "HERITAGE" program of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture.
